OMEPA Members!
Less than 5 months before significant cuts are slated to impact the HME Industry.
What would a 32% reduction in reimbursement do for your business?
The 75/25 relief for non-bid, non-rural areas is set to expire on 12/31, and CMS does not plan to extend it through its regulatory authority.
The impact could be devastating for many of our HME companies in Oklahoma, and we need your help today to prevent these cuts from taking effect for affected product categories. These cuts impact not only Medicare FFS but also other payers whose rates are tied to Medicare reimbursement, including TRICARE and over 20 state Medicaid programs!
We need all our OMEPA Members to:
- Ask your Senators to co-sponsor S 1294, and Senator Lankford has stated that he would co-sponsor the bill, but no word from Senator Mullen’s office (The senators cannot co-sign on a bill until they return to Washington DC).
- Explain how these cuts would impact your company’s ability to care for their constituency.
- When you reach out, Let Larry Dalton know by email (lddalton@acmedeq.com) so we know the Senator’s office has been engaged.
- Please keep us posted on any feedback you get and if you need help.
Thanks so much for your support!
Thank You!
Larry Dalton
