“Attention Oklahoma DME Providers”

As autumn begins this week, it opens the doors for our 4th upcoming OMEPA Annual Conference. This year’s 2021 OMEPA Annual Conference will begin Tuesday morning September 28th at 8:30 AM and close with a spectacular “State Awareness” meeting on Wednesday morning. The event will be conducted at the same location as last year, Osage Casino Hotel and Conference Center, 951 West 36th Street North in Tulsa, Oklahoma. See our website at www.OMEPA-OK.com for more information.

This year’s OMEPA Conference will be filled with a morning of HME retail educational events followed with lunch and an afternoon with Medicare billing and other Washington updates. At 5 PM we will begin our vendor show. We have over 20 different vendors that are participating this year with exciting new technology and equipment to share with you.

Wednesday morning will be our “State Awareness” meeting, full of comments from our state and federal representatives of Oklahoma. We will have many of our elected officials, US Senators and Congressmen’s and State Senators and Representatives attending this “State Awareness” meeting. There will be a lot of open discussions about our future in the Oklahoma DME industry.

In 2020, OMEPA joined with 17 other Oklahoma Health Care Associations in battling against the state’s proposed managed-care program. This year the state associations formed a new coalition called, “Oklahomans Caring for Oklahomans” for the purpose of informing the public through whatever media possible, to prevent the implementing of managed care in Oklahoma. https://www.oklacares.org. You will hear from our coalition leaders Sandra B. Harrison, JD, MPA Oklahoma Hospital Association, VP/Regulatory and Legal Affairs. This is an event that you do not want to miss, if you’re invested in the future of Oklahoma Healthcare.

I strongly urge you to join us at our 2021 OMEPA Conference in Tulsa by visiting our website www.OMEPAok.com and registering for this upcoming event.

We, at OMEPA believe that when we join in unity, we can make a difference for our future.

I hope to see you Tuesday, September 28, 2021, in Tulsa Oklahoma.

Your servant in helping you!
Larry Dalton,
OMEPA Pres.
