75/25 Relief Not Included in Year-End Legislation

The year-end legislative package did not include the effort to restore Medicare 75/25 blended rates for non-bidding, non-rural areas. Despite strong support on Capitol Hill, negotiations over healthcare provisions were contentious, and DME relief was left out. AAHomecare remains committed to pursuing this issue in the 119th Congress, set to convene in January. Efforts will focus on modernizing the DME benefit, improving rates, and advancing ePrescribing initiatives. Key industry allies, including Sen. John Thune as Senate Majority Leader, provide optimism for progress. AAHomecare will continue advocating for fair reimbursement rates and engaging the HME community in the fight for meaningful policy improvements.

Thank you to all who supported advocacy efforts this year—your voice is critical to our success!

Thank You!
